hi guys i cant flash dreambox 500 s green light just stays on tried every version of dream up but no joy is it bricked when i try dream up it wont recognize the box connection prepared now switch on dream box when i switch it on nothing happens green light on box that it

Have you tried all versions of dreamup? Is it a null modem cable?

I was having this issue, Try this

Dont use a USB-Serial adapter.. Mine Does not work that way.

Use Dreamup 1.3.3.4

Make Sure its null modem cable.

Also i think that my serial port on my dream box was connected wrong if you open it up the red wire on the serial port to the mobo should be on the right hand side when fitted faceing the back of the box
