could any one tell me if i could tranfer settings and data from a up and running dm500s to another dm500s using ftp on dreamedit please i am new to sat and have a sv7 but had enough of star view can you help

Make a backup from the 500 on Dreamup then flash to other 500.
Both will be identical.
