try the Pli jade image. might be the image didnt flash correct.

okay tried pli jade. but the damn thing still turns itself off on transponder scan. im gonna bin it unless someone wants it

My openmedia does this if you try a multisat scan, I just scan one at a time or drop a file in

yeah trying just one satellite as i have a fixed dish till i move. its only set to look for astra.... bin day tomorrow

would that it were that simple curious. alas. power adaptor has been swapped over with 1 i know is working and nada. i can only assume a dodgy bit on the circuit board. this however is beyond my meagre electronic knowledge and so the bin men will have a nice surprise.

had same senario mate i had to reflash then do a manual scan on a vertical transponder once i got that i done a auto scan and it worked hope this helps

i've had this problem with 2 dm500s.
every time i tried to scan using the motor the whole box would either hang or keep rebooting itself or just die.
i did a delete.image then reflashed using pli jade.

i came to the conclusion that i just hadnt flashed the boxes correctly!
