How to set up MGcamd

Hello

Iam new to DB and got a PVR 600 and i flashed it with gemini, and I installed mgcamd 1.35 .. with manual install...

But I can not find the newcamd.conf file anywhere...

Hi just done this used the file below installed and removed the unwanted examples, added CWS= deleted the .example bit and restarted the cam 1.35a, was your the full install if not you will have to also install the config files for your image.

Thanks .. but when I unrar and copy (the *.ipk) to tmp, the DB could not execute it...?

The first file I installed was e1-mgcamd 1.35a_100126.tar.gz

I dount know it it was "complete" bur it did install something..

The image file i flashed the DB was

gemini-460-dm600pvr-200812192032.nfi

Iam not shure if that is the right one for me..

Hi the file i uploaded was for E2 images so will not work, you need one for E1, the image you flashed is ok or you would have bricked the box.

Now I have flashed it with : dreambox-image-dm600pvr-e2-20080218124055.nfi

and copied DE-enigma2-plugin-softcam-mecamd-comfig.ipk

to \tmp\

But I can not find a way to install it.. ??
