DM500 - problem with 13e channels

My DM500 works fine on 28.2e, all relevant channels open. However, when I connect to 13e it won't open the channels it should (tested with a DM800 and this works fine on both 13e & 28.2e).

It's been suggest by a friend that the tuner could be faulty or the image should be changed (currently Pli jade).

Any other ideas how to sort this out there?

Pli jade a decent image for the dm500,have you put in a good set of recent bouquets for 13 degrees?
Try that or update your satxml file but do you get a lock on anything? If you do try and do a manual scan.
Not had a Dm500 for a while but mine found all sats on a Dm 500.
Another thing have you put in the correct longitude and latitude?

Not put a bouquet in, will check the satxml. Locks to the sat fine with a strong signal, a scan finds all the channels but only fta can be viewed (as I say the dm800 works fine when connected. Does the lat/long matter as I'm on a fixed 80cm dish?

If its fixed then no.
Daft question do you have a line in the dm800 and the dm 500? Will only get blank channels if no paid line.
If you have a lock you should get the channels you require but remember Dm 500 is enigma 1 and dm 800 enigma 2 so get the correct bouquets or convert them.
Think you toggle between versions 2,3 & 4 to convert them.
Catseyes does the best enigma 2 bouquets in my eyes,

I have a line in the dm800, which forwards onto the dm500 (multi-room). Both boxes have no probs working together on 28.2, it's just 13e. I'll try the bouquet next.

Like i said try Catseyes or Sgtflipflops bouquets both are very good.
Catseyes has a little more regarding movies etc

Another thing the two boxes are not sharing the same ip address are they?
This would make only one box work with premium channels.

No mate, separate ip addresses. Just tried catseye e1 bouquet, still no joy
