D500 and an Sky box in the same house?????

Hi guys

I have a DM500 and also a normal sky box.

Could I use 1 sattelite and have each box in a different room?

What connections would I need etc?

Lastly, i am aware that the channel list would be different from each box. I want to use the basic free channel list on the sky box but in a seperate room.

You will need a dual lnb i.e one for each box. You will need to run a cable each from the dual lnb to each box wherever they are located in the houes.

i see, how difficult is it to connect the dual lnb?

whats the average cost for one?

also would sky do it for me for free as i am still with them?

Not difficult but research which fitting u have as earlier dishes had different fittings.

check fleabay they are quite cheap

I doubt it as u only have one sly box. cant see em installing a dual lnb to run a dreambox off of. If u cant do it get ur local aerial/sat guy to do it

how old is your sky install ? have u checked if sky have not already equiped your dish with a quad ?

most installs these days are fitted with quads .
