DM500 No Sound on Movies

Seems a strange one to me but I've lost the sound on all sub movie channels. Sports, kids and others are ok.

Any brainstorming ideas of what the problem is would be appreciated.

have you pressed audio button then turn volume up had a simular prob m8 this sorted it for me..

Yes they are (English AC3). Changing to nar or English cures it.

Funny they've been ok before and thids has happned on two boxes.

Now while your both on form, do you know why I cant connect to the box to FTP when using Dreambox Control Centre? log says:

Telnet Connected
FTP Connected
Model DM500 detected.
FTP Disconnected

Bootmanager: not found.

L don't use dcc if u search for free FTP on here we have a few good programes so theres no need for dcc , u can check u have your pass and login the right was Around

you could try downloading a different version of dream control center from a different source ,you can download it from the last link of my signature area . do you ave it setup correctly ? or you using a router and ethernet cable . dream control center is the correct application for your box so it should work if setup correctly .

Once again all the movie channels have gone AC3.

I can change to English or Nar but change the channel and its back to AC3.

Rather strange and annoying.

dw190 the audio should stay as you set it atleast untill you plug in again tomorrow ,if it reverts back to ac3 every time you change channels its not normal . you could try changing images there is a working nabilo image you can download from the last link of my signature area or try another image .

Tried downloading from your 4shared and keep getting the message cannot download.

Sorted the sound.

In the system/Video/Audio settings the AC3 was set to default output.

dw190 that link works i dont what the issue you have is ,maybe your anti virus is blocking the download .if it is click allow allow ,dont worry its safe .if your sound is sorted well done .
