Hi there -

Just a quick and simple questions to most of you in the forum. I have googled things but have turned out to be inconclusive.

I am thinking of buying Dr?ambox for Satellite, may be 500s (or any better if someone can recommend). I use to be on cable and 500c worked like a charm until all that military change over to N3. Que - Will this 500s or any better equivalent need card share as well or do they work without it (like old style 500c, plug and play)?

I have Sky dish installed and my Sky box still works fine with all Free to Air channels.

It won't just "work" when you plug it in. Read up on cardsharing if you like but be aware that it's illegal and it's not free.

With NDS4 looming on the horizon, it remains to be seen if, or for how long, CS will remain an option for "free footy". Im assuming that's what you're after since that's was 90% of sat newcomers ask about.

thats what they said about nds3 too...how many times since 1990's, when payed tv become mainstream, did we hear 'this is the end of...' ? they might say nds4 is a cs killer, equally the P4 ROM cards in the UK were touted as cardsharing killers also, before a new version of CCcam permitted their operation again.
