Whats the best image for the dreambox dm500 as I see there are so many. Will just be using sky uk world/28.2e

each to their own. i prefer plijade, others prefer gemini... others prefer others..... best bet, flash an image.. try it out for a few days, if u like it, keep it, if not, flash a new one

if you have a cline on your box you pay for make sure you make a backup of it before you flash an image

Dream Multimedia stopped making the originals about two or three years ago so if you brought it brand new its a clone.

Why not give Commando 14.4 a whirl, mrblue? It's neutrino, and has a record-breaking 4MB var partition. Full usals support if you want to go motorized, and runs CCcam nicely as well (not included, but supported in the Extras > Softcam menu).

Not to mention a cracking online RadioTimes EPG setup by LraiZer, and a tasty eazy-install bang up to date Channel Icons package add-on here:
