DM528-S New Zealand

Hi Everyone - I have recently purchased a DM528-S and trying to get it running in NZ on any OS i can. Tried OpenPli with the most success, Jade and others just freeze up in Sat. Settings.
Can anyone recommend the Kaos OS for my situation?
