null modem cable.

the pinouts are diffrent on these cables,

null modem pinout:

rs232 are wired pin 1:1, 2:2 etc

Null Modem DB9 cable, go on flea bay put that in. They are about 2 pounds.

serial cable has one end male one end female i think you need female both ends

i went to buy cable on flebay and they call it an rs 232 cable /null cable still donot know what to buy
