pl advice me..CCcam v2.0.11 safe on 500s clones running Gemini 4.2?

pl advice me whether CCcam v2.0.11 is safe on 500s clones with Gemini 4.2 image running.

No need to worry about CCcam 2.0.11 on any box, you only need to worry about the Gemini images.

Use the pli jade image its by far the best image so far for a 500.

PLi or Nabilo is preferred for 500s clones ?

its really down to your preference m8. I really like the pli jade as everything i try to do with it it works fantastic.

Streaming to pc, mounting hdd on comp for dreambox use, movie player everything with great support.

Try it you wont be sorry trust me

When it comes to clones any image other than Gemini is fine. The Nabilosat image is a maxvar image so can install more plugins on it than the Pli image.

thanks again; i wanted to try nabilo ; which version i can? what you mean by "maxvar"? (sorry if this is a silly quest);
also currently i run few scripts using the 'crond' tab in gemini (blue panel-extras-services-crond) mainly CCcheck.sh which checks every 30 mts that the CCcam is running ; i read that in nabilo there's auto reboot, possible ; but has it got a crond or similar one?

You want Nabilosat Maxvar v0.8. the maxvar means that the image is complied to free up extra space in the var folder for plugins. Nabilosat image has addon scheduler which allows to run their own scripts or your own scripts at particular times.

Nabilosat Maxvar V0.8 for Dm500S is very good and has everything you could possibly need for a satellite image. The Nabilosat Darkstar II looks like a very good image but I had problems trying to get Digitv 1.0W and 28.2E sats so I abandoned it for the Pli image.

While we're on the issue of 0.8W i cant get it on my 500 i think it may have something to do with the fact that one says 0.8 and the other say 1.0.


Can anyone help me ( I can get the signal before but now I can't since upgrade to new image )

I use the Pli image. Go to Service searching > Sat configuration Scroll down until you find 1.0W Thor > select edit > Change the '10' to 8 > Save. You will than need to scan Thor to get your channels back again.

Being new to the Dreambox and having just got a clone to go in to the spare room i can just about use most Img except Gemini are there any others that i should avoid on a D500 clone
