500 wont boot up

hi

i have a db500 clone for a year never messed with it , but i thought i would try and update the bouquets usein the DreamboxEdit Guide

but it went wrong somehow and now my box wont boot past the start up of nabilsat image (cat) it just keeps on flashing on/off and romote wont open anything ,

the ccam is 2.1.3 dont know which image i had on

any sultions for this

You will need to reflash it mate, preferably with a null modem cable and "dream up"

Parricull is probably wright, but before you relash it, try switching it on and of at the mains a good few times. Leave it powereed of for e few mins at a time. If you do need to reflash it, make sure you have your info from your config file, because once you flash it, you will loose it.

no it wont boot

i put on a image called {gemini 470 db500 no bumb}think that has built in ccam 2.2.1 hope thats right , i installed useing flashwizard pro through internet home plugs , it has sorted the first bit out

as the start up is different and its asking me no to were i am from and time zone , i picked the 3rd box and its gone to lat long , i got mine from a map ( dont noif it is correct but thats were i am up to

i guess its going to be a long day now (getting it to work)
as i think i am uo to getting the box finding astra28

i do have my cline it was in my mail from 12 months ago ,,

but it use to glitch (that waswhy i guess i start to mess with my box)

any way hope there are a few on that will help me if i get stuck

i would not use any gemini image on any clone box,you would be better off flashing it with nabilosat darkstar2 or pli jade 3,the gemini image may say no bomb but i would never trust these images,just a freindly suggestion..

ok iam stuck

i put on dk v1.1 got astra scaned in , i can watch bbc1 etc i put in my line , but it wont clear

i reflashed with pli jade 3 and only put astra on for now there was allot of chanels missing but i can sort that out later .
i put my cline in and it is in,
but i still get black screen

check your network setting,s

Make sure you have changed back your network to dhcp to allow it to connect to the net.
Also choose CCcam as your default cam...not common interface as it'll only display fta.
When you say blank screen???
Does it boot up with pli logo?
If not check scart connection and also test whether the box is seeing the controls.Flashing green light on channel change.

on the blank screen i mean channels that wont clear , bbc works fine ,, internet is untuched , dhcp is ticked , whin i change chanel is does say on info bar ccam 2.2.1

anything else it could be

Get the server host to double check the line.
