IM A NOOB PLEASE HELP, ANSWER QUESTIONS PLEASE PLEASE

Hello i am a complete noob, all i know is that i ordered a dreambox DM500 or DM500-S or something.
Questions : (PLEASE ANSWER ATLEAST ONE PLEASE)
1/ - What does flashing a dreambox do ?
2/ - What is CCcam and what does it do ?
3/- What are Dreambox Images (e.g Gemini etc..)

ok when u get it gemini is on it flashing changes the image more updated

ccam is makes it work as in ppv chanels etc

images vary some are for just watching tv others are for streaming pc stuff look here read a lot

Oh i see, so can i use CCcam without flashing my dreambox ? or do i have to flash to use ccam or can i just download the cccam without flashing my dreambox and it would work ? :P

Bear in mind downloading CCcam wont automatically make the PPV channels work

Hi mate i'm a newbee to all of this just bought a dm500v8 box it has free to air chanels like bbc, c4 etc but wanted to get sky encripted chanels like sports, movies.

can someone please help and explain to me what i need to do?

all help will be really appreciated.

p.s when the box starts there is picture of a lambo with gemini written on the load up page if that helps.

Its too hard to find them, i beg you please could you quickly just explain , if i download cccam will i work straight away or must my dreambox be flashed ??

Oh "Waj_Uk" , then how do i make it work ? please i beg you i need help please could yous two guide me on what i need to do, cause i ordered a dm500 and i really need to know how to set up, because i got the dish set up and its all ready i just have to connect everything but i dont know how to get cccam to work or stuff and do i need to flash my dreambox for cccam to work ???
COULD ONE OF YOUS SEND ME A TUTORIAL ON SETTING UP CCCAM ASWEL!

"mtv1" is that the image i should flash ? DO I HAVE TO FLASH ? please answer some of my questions just take 10 minutes of your time or less to answer please, thanks so much

You have to decide if you are going to subscribe to Sky and have dreamboxes around the house sharing the card. In which case you will need to download Oscam and CCcam, or if you are just going to use someone elses card, in which case you will probaly only need cccam configured to their system. To give you an example it took me 60 hours to get a basic home card sharing system working (learning and testing and coming close to smashing the machines). Don?t expect this to be a 5 min job. Like everything its only easy when you know how. Lots to read and learn.

What ? you need a sky membership ? are you sure ?? i dont think so.. i just want those channels from cccam and stuff

largedish said you need a sly sub IF you are having an inhouse server.
u dont if you just want sly on one dreambox, im sure by now uve had lots of 'helpful' pms from members

oh, thanks, but please just answer this question, Do i have to flash an image or something onto my dreambox for cccam to work !! ? or can i just download cccam and it would work ??

yeah, get plijade, flash the box, then install cccam from menu.

SO PLEASE LISTEN AM I RIGHT WITH ALL THESE STEPS
When my box arrives,
i will plug everything in, connect it to the dish ,
Get the Null Modem cable connect to my computer download Dreamup, open dreamup do everything load the plijade image click flash, after flash , plug everything in to the box, from the menu install "cccam complete" the latest version, and restart the box, and THATS ALL?
PLEASE TELL ME IF THATS ALL OR AM I MISSING ANY STEPS
