Hi guys can anyone help me i have dreambox 500 with everything installed. when i open up dreambox control centre and click ftp i cannot see any files on the screen on the left hand side. I can see my computer files on my right. I know i am connected ok as the green lights are showing at the bottom of the screen. How do i get the files to show please a step by step i know it is something small i just want the var etc files for you know what or is there any other way around this as its driving me mad.

are you inputting the correct ip of your dm in dcc?

gemini with ccam 2.2.01 i know its not my dcc corrupted because i went to a friends and sorted his out the other day via ftp no probs.Comment

Make sure the settings are correct, IP, Username & Password.
On the main page, When you click reconnect it should show a green line from Computer to Dreambox. If that is green then you can FTP and files will show

No luck with the flash uninstalled dcc and reinstalled i just dont understand why the files are on my tv screen and not on dcc on the left hand side of the computer any help would be appreciated thanks for those of you that tried to help.Comment

you mention all was fine untill the subscription ran out does that mean you both the box complete with c line ? ,if you did the chances are the box has been password protected by the server . that would really be the only reason i could see why you would have no files in the box on the left ,if that is the case the only way to access the files is to reset the password and the only way to do that is to reflash the box which will set the password to its default setting .i love it when a dreambox comes together.

when your in dcc, go to configuration on your left, then experts and change ftp type to passive, see if that'll work
, same thing just happened to me and dcc wouldn't respond. I d/l Imagine_DreamboxToolbox V6 and I'm grand again

Thanks alot for all the help guys a little bit to go on piopat i have tried the passive but no joy, tried turning my firewall off no joy, i am going to try redevil and go with dreambox toolbox and see how i go i will get back to you all it is realy driving me mad i am pretty clued up with these machines i will be back soon hopefully good news.Comment
