    DM500S Help

    Hi everybody!
    Lets start by saying im new to this so if im breaking any rules im really sorry. Now on to my problem, which is i have a dreambox500s and it works perfectly for about a year then it just stops working and my dad takes it to this guy that lives like 3 hours away from our house to "fix" it basically he fills it up with channels and gets it to work again but now my father is away and i dont know who this person is or where he lives so I cant give to the guy so he can "fix" it. Now my question is: Is there anyway I can do this myself, and would it help to reset the box to fresh out the box condition? Again im really sorry if i broken any rules but quick responses would be helpful since Chelsea plays tommorow and I dont want to miss it .

      check that your dm is connecting to the internet okay. If its connecting okay and its been another year thats its been working okay and then stopped then your subscription to your guys server has ran out

          Its connected to the internet but this happens every year and then when it runs out we take it to the guy and he fills it up again.

              If it happens every year around the same time, it's your server, the guy your dad takes the box to, to be "filled" again. I would say your best bet for the match 2moro is "P2P" on your pc. Then you need to google cardsharing as it's not allowed on this forum, and you'll find out exactly what this guy is "filling" your box with. But even so, your dad shouldn't have to travel to this guy all the time.

                  Yeah i figured it was kind of weird but yeah i googled it a little bit and found some useful answers thanx for your help appreciate it and i would love to send you some questions in PM in the future if thats okey?

                          They should be able to re activate from their end. If not it's easy to do yourself

                                  If your happy with service you've had, you need to send readies to guy. You should have a number wrote on box, just give him number, and he can re activate. Or just get another server and do it yourself, easy.
