i have just ordered a dm500s and a motorised 80cm dish can someone tell me what i need to do to dm500s ie flashing and whats needed

Start here and do some reading,dont expect instant answers cos it aint plug and play and the best way is to do it yourself with trial and error with lots of searching threads.
Best start with flashing an image,most recommend pli jade 3 so search for pli website.
Check red stickies at the top of the sat section,
