    DM500s won't turn on

Anyone know why my DM500s has decided to no longer turn on? I've tried a new power lead so i know it's not that... The red light comes on for less than a second and fades away, i haven't tried to flah the box or update it.

Hi, same case happened to me after flash the unit with others image (via IP address), i recommend you to use the null cable connect with PC com2 to reflash the unit with DM500 image. It work well.

      Hiya,

I had same problem, no response from box at all, thought box was dead. Unearthed an old null modem cable from the eurovox days, flashed PLI image onto box, bingo. Well worth a try before burying the dm you have.

I had same problem, was due to me messing about with electrics in house, just reflash your image and you should be fine...... use a null modem cable to do this.

Could you have a loose power connector on the back of the box. Does it stay on if you hold the plug in?

I'm pretty sure there's no loose cables, will definately be trying to reflash it as soon as i can, will let you know the results.
