I have came to a brick wall and getting nowhere.

I installed the DK1.1 image to my Dreambox 500S however undertsand that there are files needed in the keys folder.

Can anyone help me find these. I have transferred the ones from the dreambox stuff download and also the nagra7 files into the SCCE folder. when rebooted it goes to sky sports 1 and nothing happens.

I have tried restarting the CCcam 2.0.10 but still the same.

Any help please?

A Dreambox 500S is a satellite reciever mate, you need a Dreambox 500C if you want to hack Cable TV.

You are trying to hack VideoGuard using Nagravision roms.

The are completely different things.

The only way to clear Sky channels over satellite is to use either a valid card or card sharing.

so why do people speak of the 500S with the right keys and roms to watch many channels

you can get soft keys that will work with some stuff, but not that much these days, and unfortunatelly we dont allow keys posted on this forum.

But if you do a google for satans keybundle or Minicats keys, sure they will be available somewhere.

About 6 months ago, you could watch German Sky, Spanish Sky, French Sky, Polish Sky, Portuguese Sky, Greek Sky, etc. if you had the correct keys. Now most of them have all moved encryption so you can't watch them anymore. Most of these packages transmitted in English as well as all the channels that you get on UK Sky (you can't hack uk sky).

the rom 7 , that peeps talk about, was for cable ( a 500c ) , you got a ( 500s ) which is satellite, and uses totally different keys and roms to cable.

you will need sat keys and roms for sat
and cable keys and roms for cable

That file is for Virgin Cable Television mate.

They use an old version of Nagravision encryption which is wide open to hackers.

Satellite television uses much more secure systems to protect their channels.

How many channels are we talking the softkeys like satankeys will clear on a motor sat?

I hear a good motor sat can pick up like 5000 channels, so how many are still viewable (just a ballpark figure) is it just like 100s or more than a 1000 with just good ones gone?
