Dreambox Control Centre Problems?

Can you use an Ethernet Cable to connect the box so we can select the FTP? as its needed for Cam Config.

We do have the NULL Cable but there is no port on this PC to connect to.

(Yes we have tried the Ethernet but it wont connect?!)

ethernet cable in the back of the box to your router will work no probs.

Ahh right, We just tried to connect it direct from the box to the PC with Ethernet, so it does have to go connect through the router and the box to make the connection for it??

The box is a DM500 S Because we tried last night to connect but it wouldnt connect direct from PC to box.
