Dreambox setup problems

Hi guys - hope someone can help me, I bought a DM500s just over 12 months ago with a free xmas gift - gift stopped after 1 month and I tried to run it on my motorised dish. No luck - put it away until recently. Problem is when I do a channel scan it only picks up BslyB channels on every satellite - I have done a factory reset and scanned thor, gets ALL the channels. Go to 28.2 and scan, download these channels. Now go back to 1.0 deg (thor) and channel lists only BslyB no others. Also there is only BslyB on the providers list.This is the same on other satellites as well - can anyone shove me in the right direction please

Have you set it up in the motor settings with long and lat?
Install these bouquets and if you have correct long and lat the dish should drive to the sat and channels.
Use dreambox edit to put the bouquets on.

How to convert enigma 2 bouquets to enigma 1 (and vice versa)

If you have an enigma 1,2 bouquet and would convert it to the other open up dreamboxedit and load your bouquet.

When its loaded click on tools and select - toggle between versions 2,3 & 4 settings until you get the desired settings and then upload to your box.

I wouldnt use lat long with a 500s. Its not the best.

Just manually set it, un tick goto, then pick your sat from the drop down and move east or west.

Store sat and move to the next.

did that originally and stored 1deg West to 28.2 East - if I do a channel download from 1 deg W (thor) I get all the channels (premier etc) as soon as I dowlaod from 28.2 (Astra) I loose all the other channels on all the satellites excepy BSkyB - provider only shows BSkyB on all sats

Download individual lists per sat ?

Yes - is that wrong ? - I only ask because I also have a Technomate 5400 + super and I can get all the sat channels on every satellite - is this not the case with a DM ?

No you download 1 list with a multi sat setup.

Not individual as it will overwrite the old bouquet.

Why dont you do a multi sat scan, then once you have done that, use dreambox edit to create your own bouquets.
