recording button?

ive been having a messing about with my blade500. (well its a wet/windy day and i've not got much else on )

i set up two network mounts one for epg and one for recording.

epg is now working perfectly (pleased about that), but i have ran into some diffficulty with the recording feature.

i have set up the mount correctly (i think ) ,
i can record by pressing the record icon on the web interface page . (have actually recorded and played back)

according to the various threads i've been reading there should be an option to start/stop recording when i press the yellow button.
this is my problem, there is no options there?

so my question is, how do i get the recoeding buttons up???

im using blade500s on pli jade image...

prees red for epg , then find what you want then yellow
