dreambox 500 faulty

I have a dreambox 500 (blackbox clone) than when powered up i get any pic on screen just black screen and on the box itself i get a faint very faint green light and when i press the power button on the box the light goes bright green !

anyone ever come accross this before ?

i have tried new power supple
tried dreamup with null cable but box will not be recognised in there

any help much appreciated
