Dreambox 500 Keep stopping CCcam

I thought i now know everything about dreambox but this one is giving problem after problem.

It just stop running CCcam every 8 hours and i have to reboot it to watch tv again. I tried all versions on Cccam from the oldest to the very new. I tried 3 Images, Darkstar, Jade and Gemin.

Is it hardware related or what? is there a script for dm500 to keep Cam active?

maybe worth a try ? , stop cam on dm500 , then try telnetting to your box ,

To start CCcam via telnet and to avoid having it stopped when closing your telnet session, just type:

cd /var/bin
./CCcam &


CCcam is the executale and can of course have a different name for you

the & tells the system to run the executable in background
