    Connecting To Foreign Satellites

    Hi guys,

I'm new to this forum so please excuse my lack of knowledge and perhaps etiquette. I'm currently paying ?80 plus for a sky sports subscription with multi room and have had enough. I hear in the news at the mo a lot of chat about watching footie on foreign channels. I have a dreambox 500s currently gathering dust and was wondering how easy it would be to set up. I am aware that I need a big dish and feel reasonably confident about setting up diseqc, but I was wondering first and foremost is it worth it? Can anyone tell me realistically how cheaply all the necessary equipment to get the football sky offer can be bought? Having had a brief google search, I see foreign cards costing around ?1000 for a 12 month subscription. If this is the case I am as well staying with sky. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
    Cheers,

    Callum

Thanks for the info. I'm aware we are not allowed to discuss the aforementioned as I believe it to be illegal. I am not in a position with the job I do to be messing about with this anyway. Anyone got any legal suggestions or do they not exist?
      Cheers!
