You need to go into the network settings and set your dreambox and router ip address.
Sounds like yours has a dynamic address and is dhcp enabled.
Most prefer static ip address and have dhcp turned off or disabled this means you can fix your own ip address for the dreambox and leave it at that so it doesnt change everytime you turn it off and on.

try rebooting modem/router, turn it off then back on. then reboot box, menu, shutdown and reboot now.

Have you tried going into network settings make a new ip address for Dreambox mirroring the ip of the router barring the last 2 digits untick dhcp and reboot?

if the box was stuck on the green light for a lenght of time a reflash may be the way to go , a reflash is to change the image and an image is the tv software .
i love it when a dreambox comes together.

First thing I'd suggest before reflashing anything or hacking with the IP address/settings is to check your networking cable. Does the LED on your router which corresponds to that input come on? Some network cables are a little on the stiff side, does it mate firmly with the DM and with the router?
Can you try a different networking cable and a different router port (sometimes the connector inside the router becomes intermittent).
When you log in to the router's administrative account, does it see the DM and can you see what IP address it's assigned to it.
                Mama's got a Dreambox ...
