Blackbox 500 sat

I Live in gran canaria and have been offered a blackbox 500s which I am told is the same as a dreambox 500s is that true?, I have a 2m dish and currently only recieve fta from 28.2 on an old sky box from the UK. not done any work with one of these but I am ok computer tech wise, is it worth taking (its free) or would I be better looking to buy some better unit? Thanks

Yeah its the same as the 500s but the tuners could be a bit dodgy tho...worth a try for nowt tho.
Get reading the stickies and youll be up and running fairly pronto.
