Using Movieplayer and VLC
Has anyone out there ever got the PLi Image Movieplayer working?
I am using Firmware release 1.0.9, 27.06.2009 and VLC 1.1.11.
The web interface for VLC is working. I see all my movies but when I select one to play all that happens is that is plays remotely on the PC. The movieplayer attempts to fill it's buffer and fails after 5sec (default) and then isssues another command to the VLC server on the PC whereupon the movie restarts on the PC. The example shown on the PLi website shows VLC Front End listed in the plugins but does not mention it in the text. I thought that movieplayer was supposed to replace the need for VLC Front End.
