After insatlling new image no picture

First of all , Hi all

Here is a short description of my problem:

I downloaded OpenPLi-beta-dm500-20111011-231 image.
and renamed It into root.cramfs.
Than with used DreamBox_Control_Centar_v2.95 and instaled
image.
Everything went fine but in the end i got message to shut down my Dreambox 500s (original).
I tryed that with remote but couldnt , so I unplug it.
After that when i start my dreambox nothing is happening on the TV screen, omly black screen and the green light on the Dreambox shuts down after 2 min!!!

I cant connect to the Dreambox with my PC via router!
I have Nul modem cable but my PC doesnt have that plug??

What can I do

you can buy a usb converter but they can be problematic. Best bet is see if any of yours m8's has a pc with com port.

I ordered UTP crossed cable so will try that

Here Im again.
So the crossed UTP cable didnt work for me!!!!
so i connected my PC and dreambox with crossed UTP cable
started Dreamup and followed the instruction posted here.
But nothing happeded, the message : "connection prepared ..... stay and nothing!!

any suggestions

Let me just sey that I found the PC with Nul modem connection so I updated my Image and now its working
