Well i do not have one myself. I bought a genuine 600 in the UK. It is agreed amongst people who have them that the chinese clones are better than the original DM500 as they have a better tuner in them... Many members here will have one and seem happy, you will get a bad one occasionally that you will need to send back but that can happen with anything you buy anywhere.

Therefore I can only refer to what i have read as I cannot advise about any particular clone or or seller that could be better than the other.. Just go for it...

well i bought 2 blackboxes from dvb monkey in september and had no probs at all apart from 1 which was ok until a month ago it crashed so switched it off via the mains and now it will not even pick up an ip addy,have e-mailed them several times and not even a reply to where i can send it back as its still under warranty,so personally i would not recommend them to anyone.

I have posted in the past If you buy a Blackbox, before you switch it on open it and clean out all the metal chipping inside, as the parts are magnitised you will find metal chipping clung onto all different components, the makers have no quality control another thing to do is glue down the ethernet port from lifting off the main board.

There is very little to do if things go bad.

I bought mine from _www.linuxsat.co.uk paying through Google checkout and using a credit card. They say in the FAQ on their site 12 months guarantee, and their service response has so far been very fast. If it goes wrong in this time (They are based in Leeds) they will fix it. If not I'll just complain to my credit card company, but I don't expect any problems with them.

I did think about buying cheaper from China, but their guarantees are worthless so I'd rather use someone reasonably local.
