Yes, I have a legitimate subscription card. All the premium channels work except for sky sports, movies, espn.

replace the XX XX XX XX with your boxkey then paste this in cccam cfg
and save
then the premium channels will work

ok, first off thanks guys, it worked when I put in the box key.

I still have one little problem though. when I was trying to get sports and movies working yesterday, I deleted the channles that weren't working from the boquets list - both on dreambox edit and on the box itself, in hope that when i scanned again they might work. (someone on the forum had said to try it)

So, I deleted sky sports and movies from the boquets list yesterday. Now when I reload the original SgtFlipFlop's boquets list, Sky Movie channels come back on, but the sport channels dont.

However, I have access to sky sports 1 + 2 through Irish variations in the menu, so I know they are working too.

Any suggestions, I have tried loading them back on with dreamboxedit about 5 times.

download SgtFlipFlop's list again from the forum
then send it to your dm via dreamboxedit
then all the channels will be there

yeah, thats what I done, The movies channels came back, but not the sport. Its very strange.

Its in the middle of an automatic scan now after uploading SgtFlipFlop's boquets for the 5th or 6th time.

No, that didn't work either. What i'm doing is Im uploading SgtFlipFlop's boquets to the box and then rebooting.

Any suggestions?

delete the list you have cuz you f@cked it

and download a fresh copy and send it over

or


do a manual scan of the channels

sky sports 1 2 and 3

Yeah its a fresh copy that im using.

The manual scan didnt work either.

I solved it. Once I sent the files to the box, there is a button on dreamboxedit that says: reload settings on dreambox.

It recognises the changes once I pressed this button.

Great to get that sorted.

One or two more questions

the picture quality on my dm500s (clone) could be better. there are lines running through the middle of the screen. sometimes its not noticeable at all and other times it is very noticable. should it be like this? is it just the cheap box? or is there a way to fix it? will the picture quality definitely improve with one of these better boxes:

I'd also like to be able to pause and rewind live tv. Thinkng about one of these: i'm tempted by 800hd cos of the price:

some people on the forum are saying I can keep the card in the dreambox and it will update, and others are saying to put it back in the sly box. Which should I do? Id hate for it not to update and have to ring sly
