dreambox 500s

Hi, I am thinking of buying a dreambox 500s Would i have to put software on it or would it work straight away? I am currently running a basic sky package with a normal sky dish. Do you have to pay for card sharing sites or are they free? I am mainly after sports and movies. Would this box be the best to get or could you reccomend a better box?

Have a good read of the rules regarding card sharing,google is your friend.
Nothing in life is free and if you get free dont expect it to be great.
We can however help you set the box up,it will come preloaded with a Gemini image but alot of people flash a new image on the box but you will only get fta channels.
Again google card sharing c/s and you might find a few things out which might help you.

I've updated my box, first timer, did it with the latest from DKaos...but changing to one a Plijade 2 or whatever its called...any ideas which one is best ? Frickin 1000 channels on te first one....
If i'm sharing with my m8, can i share with another at same time?
Do I have to install a new file to the box to cardshare?
