stuck ?

i have a dreambox 500s. now i have scanned a few of the main sats & got the channels to open but if for instance i try to move from 28.2e to 9.0e the box starts to go then screen goes black . box is now stuck with green light on & only way i can get it to go again is to re-flash box any ideas would be grateful.

Does it go balck for every single channel on 9E or just some channels? It is possible that you are trying to view a channel that may not be open?

sorry i might have confused you .
what happens is if i am watching a channel on any sat then i decide to go to another sat, the screen comes up with moving to ,,,, then the box switches off but green light is on ( so it seems to lock the box ) & i cannot get it to respond .
hence re-flash

I don't think your box is switching off , it might be going black becaue it cannot open the channel. Are you able to get the FTA channels on other sats. Can you open BBC World on Thor 1.0W?
