dREAMBOX 500S instalation

HI , today i got my dreambox . First I connected my sky cables and internet to it and i switch on dreambox. Why my free sky chanells are not working???
Also I bought null cable and i connected to dreambox and my laptop is not showing anything ... why???

Please somebody help me
From morning first i was looking for this null cable which i couldnt conect with my laptop after they gave me other one to connect to it .. After still didnt work cos i have vista and windows 7 and drivers didnt work. I spend 3h looking for drivers . please help me

The channels may be free but most still require a freeview card inserted.

You need software to use with your null modem connection. Download DreamUp 1.3.3.4 and use that to flash whatever image you want.

yes you need the proper software also check the null cable slot on your laptop is not for a external monitor as they look like the same connector , many new laptops have not got that apropriate port , i use a old tower pc for all my dreaming jobs pm me and ill help you set it up step by step
