Getting network stream and sending to Dreambox

Hello everyone , I have Dreambox 500s Enigma 1 , what I am trying is to get video from network stream such as rtsp://... and sending that stream on my dreambox to open it there.

I have tried with VLC player , opened stream and configured it save it to lan port , 192.168.1.100:8080 , then tried with dreambox plugin vlcf 1.3 to open m3u file with port on it: http://192.168.1.100:8080 , but noluck , tried with http and udp , when trying to open stream in my dreambox goes to 8% and throws an stream error , and i think that also vlc stops to stream, maybe problem is that i'm trying to use vlc player both for streaming and also as player by vlcf plugin.

Any help is appreciated , if someone has somehow manage it to send network stream to dreambox can please write comment what he used and short explanation

you need a working vlcf plugin on your dreambox which correctly communicates with your pc

vlc on pc (old version 0.8.6 works best)

stream recording software

the stream url

wired set up works better than wireless

start vlc on pc leave it running in the background

now run the stream recording software and paste the stream address in it

your stream will start to record to the output directory of recording software

now run vlc plugin on your dreambox and navigate to the file you are writing the stream to after few seconds the stream should play on your tv
