Thinking of getting dm500

Hi ppl i joined this forum today. I am thinking of getting a dreambox dm500 to replace my free subscription sky box. I have quickly learned that i need to put Bouquets on using dreambox edit.

I also have the Bouquets from sargent flip flop Enigma 1 plus I have the ccCam channel info.

I seem all set up and ready to update off what i've learnt but the only thing im missing is what image do i flash the dreambox with and how do i flash dreambox with a image??

If someone could kindly point me in the right direction that would be great. Thanks ppl

Also i have seen a few from china that i could source but are they fake and would they work? Also if they are where should i be looking for one in the uk...

sorry missed the last bit all 500s are clones not been made by dream for a number of years 4 just check the tuners other tan that there all good

Thanks mtv1 fast response. Yeh am gonna order a few in. Is there a tut for putting image on dm500??
Also is dm500 just for satalitte recevers on can they be used for cable aswell?

I have learnt how to upgrade the firmware with enigma etc. But i need someone to point me in the right direction for a tut on how to set one up from scratch?
If someone could help that be grand..

because some people cant stick dishes up, or dont want to go to the expense. 500c works as well as 500s, less channels than sly, but virgin always had less.
