just arrived dm500s

Dont often ask questions because Im pretty good with Linux boxes after having an original 500hd, got a vu-duo and a few other.
My problem is my newest box a dm500s clone which just came through to me yesterday, tried flashing it right away and the set up came on screen, green light on, no remote. Tried everything I could think of but could not get it past this point.
Could not get it going at all and could not get it working through dreamup, could flash it with flash wizard i think it was, in work cant remember that other programme. Today when I go in gonna try dreamup again with an old pc I have in my loft to eliminate the need for the USB2 extension I used with null modem cable.

Its all cool in DCC and its finding it no prob, I can get dreambox on screen when I put the boxes ip in my browser.
So pc down from lofts my next thing AND new batteries for the remote already tried a few batteries..all Im looking for is anything else I can try.
I read about jtag after plenty other had this problem but just cant figure out what I did different to this box than my 500hd, tried all the images from here.

Bottom line is it bricked if so so be it.

If its a uk seller mate send it back
If its from china ,to much hassle
First thing i would do is open up the box remove the void sticker carefully
And just make sure all wires are connected solidly
As there quite prone to movement in transit
This will leave you with the prob you have
Box can be flashed but remote wont work
Make sure the remote senser is stable
Sure this will be the prob ,coz its happend to me a few times
