Thanks for the info. bro. i have been trying to flash my dreambox 500s for couple of days and i know nothing about how to do it. i have downloaded dreamup.exe bought the null cable. my laptop does not have the male for the female cable then i found another USB thing to hook it up with my laptop but it did'nt work, now i saw you post on another post how to flash it with the red and green lights.i got all of it but could'nt get the last part which says to browse the ip and stuff, will you please ELABORATE that part for me again, i'll really appreciate that, Thanks

Have you reflashed your box before you lost channels?? have you lost frre view and pay channels. Give more information

first of all you must check your cable connections in addition to the dish position . it sounds like a signal problem . i suggest trying using your dreambox in a friend's house or trying another satellite receiver on your own cable connections . if the connections are okay then it must be your tuner or your LNB letting you down !! i sincerely wish it is only a connection issue . othrwise ,
