Newbie needs help in dreambox dm500s clone

Hello All,

I borrowed a Dreambox dm500s clone from a friend to see if i can make it work again. It has a open pli image and I have no idea on how to get the channels working. I tried to download the setup guide but I do not have the privileges. Can some please help. Thanks.

you have to wait for the server to update
also you should be receiving free to air channels with the box?

Thanks for your prompt reply. The box has been down for over a year and its not updating by itself.
