    Might of bricked a dm500??

I have been trying to update a dm500 with OpenPLi-betadm500 using dream control center via ethernet cable.
I have been having issues trying to login using username and password as there were not the default. So I changed the the passwd_ and passwd in the var/etc using tuxbox plugin and managed to clear the password to gain access to the box in dcc.

So now i have everything set up i go tools update flash image
I pick the openpli-beta-dm500 firmware and i press the green tick to update firmware it says done i think because in german? It says done on the running log and says reboot i think.
So i go to reboot and the box is not showing image on on the tv and its not connecting to DCC it shows red line above dreambox??

Any suggestions i think its a possible brick but everything looked to be going fine. Please help asap thanks..

best way to fix a bad flash is to use null modem cable and dreamup.. and stop using beta images.. the very name suggests they're not ready for full use..

                  Hi

i think i may have done a bad flash on my dm500s,

i flashed the box and it got to about 84% and stuck,

now the box just switches on with a solid green light and nothing on the screen, it doesn't get an ip address,

and now won't communicate with my computer i've used various versions of dream up and a null modem cable, also i have tried a computer with a pci serial port and a computer with an onboard serial port and still nothing.

is there anyone that can help me sort my issue, or is it totally bricked?
