Hi Guys, I have been unable to find a reliable provider so I thought I will find out as much about dreambox as I can. I am currently finding out how to do backups in case I mess up. I have downloaded Dreamup 1.3.3.9 but am unable to run setup as I am getting an error message "can't find any comm ports-aborting". I am a total noob so any help/pointers will be appreciated.

firstly you will need a null modem cable connected to the box and your pc. then go into device manager on your pc and select the correct comm port
