good evening just wondering if its possible to connect my dreambox to my sat dish to recieve international tv such as sky italia would be great, hope someone can throw me in the right direction thank you in advance.

Might help if you were to provide a bit more about your current setup i.e type of dreambox, type of dish also is it motorised etc. -

its a dreambox 500c the dish is a non motorised dish not sure what size not to big thanks for the quick reply.Comment

The DM500c is a single tuner box which is only capable of receiving frequencies within the spectrum of freqs issued to Cable providers.
Satellite frequencies are much much higher, so the tuner would be incompatible.
You would need to desolder the tuner and replace it, but to be honest it would be far easier just to buy a new clone DM500s which is the satellite version.Comment
