    DreamBox and SHOWTIME on NileSate

    Dear All, Iam new to this, so expect some silly questions;

    1- DreamBox 500s really can open the encrypted channels on HotBird and NileSat (ART, Showtime) ???
    2- If yes, what shall I do after getting the DreamBox from the store ?

    Thanks and Regards for all

    ebillah,
    You will open some channels on Hotbird @ 13 East using a emulator loaded onto a Dreambox, but as for Showtime on Nilesat you will require at a Satellite dish well over 1 meter in the UK to get a good enough signal for you to watch without breaking up.

    You will also require a Motor for your satellite dish to get the most out of this hobby, most of us using emulators at the moment are tuned into Digitv on Thor @ 0.8 west as there are lots of channels open using Nagra2 encryption that can still be opened.

    Regards:
