DM500s - something causing sly not to work

Hi guys, I need some expert advice on this one.

Had a box that was working fine, got it off a bloke that charged for his services... he put a Gemini image onto it, password protected, no updates to the web and bouquets all in a mess.

Anyway, I backed this up (1st backup), then managed to get into it, reset the password back to default. Bouquet are now all arranged as it should be.

I've also backed up this image (working image) and rolled it out to some mates...all working fine.

However the original box has now got an issue...FTA channels ok, but the sly ones....nothing coming up.
So I imaged it back with the fixed image (working image), but still the same? I know this works on all the other boxes without any issues...but on this one, something is causing it not to work.

Now....I place the 1st backup image onto it (the one which is all locked) I took the box back to the 'bloke', told him something is wrong with it...he took it away for 30mins into a back room, and came back saying it works now.

Took it home...and it works (but bouquets all messed up) .
SO i backed this up (2nd backup), placed the working image onto it - now it's not working?
Put back the image he had just put onto it (2nd backup)...still not working...

Just to confirm: FTA ok, SLY NOPE, Internet working fine as when it was fixed Sly came up....and I'm ok working with IP's, patch leads, routers...etc, I'm in the trade.

Just need some pointers where to look now on the box....cause it's driving me crazy !!

Will be the line,he just edited Cccam.cfg but on the second image the line will be different.

You need to see the line and add it to the second image.

        Thanks for the reply...

When the bloke fixed it and the box was working, so I took an image of it.
I then re-imaged the box with one that was working on all the other boxes...it still didn't work, so I put the blokes image back on it again....Now at this stage, I thought it should work as it was working 15mins before all this...
But NOPE !!... hence I thought it had to be a setting of some sort 'outside' of the image.

        I'm still clueless....
