Just got a Dreambox 500s

Hello, I have just got a Dreambox 500s from a friend.
Well I'm new to the dreambox 500s (I have Openbox s10, but the menu looks very different)
Things I want to do:

1. Check if it's original or clone?
on the sticked on the back it's says that the mac address is 00.09.34.XX

after trying to download this Digital Kaos - Downloads - dm500_clone_bomb_checker software my comp said it's a virus

2. I want to setup new firmware.
Currently it has some version of gemini (but it has some custom boot screen).
I want to backup everything what is on this dreambox, how do I do it? (preferable with threw lan)

Which version should I flash it with and how?

I've downloaded the software and checked the box with it and it said "checking complete, no clone bomb. kernel head.ko is 308509 bytes" with green circle"

so I guess it's original? well than should I use the same firmware? or there is anything better for original?

do the version you linked have Russian language?

that link is a beta.. one i linked to is a final release. THINK u can specify russian language in setup if thats yer bag
