Over my years on dk, i have noticed a lot of people having problems with dm flashing via null modem usb cables, the best solution for this is to get hold of an old pc that has a serial port on it..
So i thought id start this thread so we can notify people of cheap pcs on Ebay etc that can be picked up for under a tenner.
Now these pcs wont be replacing your main desktop of course, BUT they will prove invaluable when you come across the problem detailed above, so here we go with the first few

now depending on your proximity to the pc's for sale, you may have to pay postage too, but say you get a pc for 99p and pay ?15.00 p and p, that ?15.99 will still be money well spent as im sure the posters with the usb null cable problems will testify
