wont work dm500s

dear members i had done everything i was told to do in how to set up my dm500s,but it wont work,any suggestions,and also how do i do a hard reboot.Thank you so much.

need to post a little more detail mate if you want help. can you see free chanels? is there any picture at all coming from the box?

yes i can see the channels, by the way im working with 110 and 119 i see the image trasponder are good but it wont show the actual tv im working with the last pli,and this is what i uploaded with the dcc rqcamd1.31.like i said is there ,the only thing i did not do, that it was suggested was hard reboot dont know were to find that.thanks for looking at my post

if i understand correctly you can see the channel name but not the picture. Can you see the picture on free channels? if not, are you sure your dish is in the correct position? all the cables are correctly inserted?

a hard reboot (as i understand it ) is switching the power off then on, on a machine. not sure if its necessary here though.

dish is good i got two machines ,the one that belongs to me a pay someone to do it ,but the one im trying to get going belongs to friend,in reality i just dont want to keep paying for something that is free <and i also would like to help others with the same problem,does anyone knows for a better or more complete in how to setup dm500s?thank you,maybe the program i put in are old,i got pli jade 3dm500;and the one that you with the dcc is rqcamd -1.31-packages-ppc(1)

pli jade or open pli are both very good with dm500 ,

flash image start cccam load flipflops channel list with dreambox edit then ftp cs line to var/ect/ccam.cfg and restart box and you should be good to go

if you have not done the above before read up on it first in the dreambox tutorials section
