I am new to the Sat scene and would appreciate some help. I installed nabilosat image onto a 500S and put on the cams and other stuff as required. The dish is set up and is picking up channels on Astra 28.6 East with a sat receiver that I got in LIDL. But.when i scan with the dream I am picking up zero channels. It just sticks on scanning and nothing is found. The signal strenght is about 91%. Anyone any ideas please...Thanks in advance....

I think it might be because the Nabilosat image looks for 28.4 whereas the satellite.xml file has it configured for 28.2. You would need to edit transponder settings 282 to 284. You will find you have similar problem with getting Digitv on 1.0W as it needs to be configured for 0.8W. Try out the Pli image as i am sure that works fine with the 28.2E channels. -

In Gemini you can goto satellites XML loader and select the satellites you need and download transponder data.

It has been a while since I used Nabilosat but i don't think you can change the satellite.xml in the image. You could load an update satellite.xml file to your image. Have a look at this link for c reating your own satellite.xml file.
