Dreambox 500s straming help

Ok i've been trying to stream to a family member who lives about 3 miles away. But no success.

I have a dreambox 500s, running pli jade 3

How would i go about setting up a reliable stream to him?

what are you trying to stream to him ? fta channels ? subscrition channels ? radio stations ? your films from your hard drive on your pc ?

Hi guys just to let you know, i got it working, took all day but it works and picture is 100% perfect, should any body need any help doing this, just post here and i will guide you on how to do it, all you need is vlc and it takes about 10 mins to setup the stream

Shady, ill write up a guide, just having one issue at the moment regarding the best codec to use, so the picture on the other ip address doesnt run slow, it seems to work but you get the odd video glitch, maybe its my upload speed, but we are working on it now :-)

i factory resetted my box accidently its a dm500v8 could i use this?
