Can you set up Dream box like Sky+

Hello. Im very new to this and not that clued up with this sort of stuff, but can you set up a dream box DM 500 to work like Sky plus, as in watch one channel and record another and set it to record. Would it be possible to connect to a external hard drive ?

dm7025 twin tuners u can watch and record at the same time, you can add internal hdd
dm600 only one tuner you can record a program but only watch a program on the same transponder , you can add internal hdd

unless you get
dm800
or
dm8000
which are hd boxes can add external drive
but are exspensive

so it looks like I cant do much with my DM500 then

You can setup the dreambox to :

1. Watch from any pc - change channels etc

2. Use a computer / Nas to store the movies u record with your 500

3. Watch the recorded stuff back on dreambox

4. Watch movies, tv shows listen to music you download of the net threw the 500 (movieplayer)
